Mobile is the new horizon of digital technology, interactivity and creativity and here at Avatarlabs, we like to ride the wave of new media. It’s entertaining, it’s fascinating and it’s wholeheartedly fun!
At the Avatarlabs App Factory, we create cool marketing and original iPhone and iPod Touch apps like Rhinoball, Race to Witch Mountain, Monsters Vs. Aliens, Terminate Me, Zombieland and Poo Log. We’ve now created over 10 mobile apps and we’ve learned something amazing with each one. We’ve created free and paid apps, marketing and game apps, brand and original content apps. We’ve developed rejected apps (ouch!) and, obviously, many accepted apps.
Like the web, social networking and texting, the power of the mobile application lies not necessarily in blockbuster downloads (although that’s nice, too) but in daily increments of engagement, high brand awareness and niche delivery of cool content.
We love our mobile devices as much as we love being entertained, and being entertained by our mobile devices is the ultimate amalgamation. We like to think the various new smartphones are like mobile channels: tune into Blackberry’s RIM store, the Android market, iTunes or Nokia’s Ovi store to get the latest and greatest applications, videos, music and games. At AvatarLabs, we want to create awesome, funny and fabulous mobile content for cool brands and for ourselves.
